Squeaky Clean

Is that an extremely girly package for my very manly soldier? Sure is.. Are those rubber duckies? Mhm.. Will this package embarrass him just a little bit? I hope so! Ha ha
That's what I love about our relationship, it's full of humor. I feel like he needs a good laugh right now anyway. It's always nice to try and lighten their mood a bit. Of course he actually requested the items in the box but after he opens it he may not request anything else (he he).. Honestly, he'll probably just shake his head and make some crack about me being blonde... Jeez, I miss that goofy guy.

What's in my box?
  • Aussie Shampoo
  • Aussie Shampoo for men (just because I think it smells nice)
  • Mouthwash with free toothpaste attached (I'm a sucker for 2 for 1 deals)
  • Dental floss picks
  • Cute little mini to-go mouthwashes
  • Travel packs Q-tips
  • Visine eye drops
  • Antibacterial wipes
  • Green loofah

"Orange" You Glad That... I Love You!

Yay! My first care package is complete! It's not as lavish as I hoped my first one would be but I'm pretty satisfied, as I hope he will be too.
  • Goldfish Crackers (Original and Colors)
  • Nature Valley Sweet and Salty Nut Bars
  • Cheez-Its snack pack
  • Orange tic-tacs
  • Reese's pieces (I thought these would be less likely to melt)
  • B-B-Q Sunflower seeds (his favorite snack to supplement tobacco)
  • Orange Crush singles to go! (safer than sending glass bottles)
  • *Not pictured- Grizzly wintergreen... gross, but I love him and I know he would go nuts without it.

Care Package Supplies

They're here!
Finally, my boxes came in today! I'm up and ready to get started on some awesome care packages. I have spent months researching and repining theme ideas via Pinterest and a few of my personal favorite military spouse blogs. With a few original boxes and some "borrowed" ideas I hope to make things as easier for him as possible from home and possibly even prevent some homesickness. Feel free to share more ideas with me and keep visiting so I can share mine with you!
Below is a link on where I got the information to receive a "Mili-kit" from the USPS
"The kit is free of charge and contains four Priority Mail APO/FPO flat-rate boxes (two medium and two large), one roll of priority packing tape, priority mail address labels, six customs forms, and envelopes. The kit may be requested by calling 1-800-610-8734."
